More than a timeline
Blogs usually arrange posts in reverse chronological order. This is useful for displaying updates, but not always for returning to a question that matters over a long period.
Alongside an archive, tags and related articles can connect thoughts from different moments. An introductory note might become the starting point for an experiment.
Let content be revised
Publication does not have to mean a final draft. When understanding changes, add evidence, correct an imprecise explanation, and explain why it changed.
This needs a stable address. A saved link should still work even when the title changes.
Start with a few connections
There is no need to build an elaborate knowledge system at the start. Each time you finish an article, find one relevant older note and explain how they relate.
As those connections accumulate, the garden's structure grows out of real use.
